Lovely shop! Had a fantastic experience buying my wedding dress from here. Very welcoming from start to finish and nothing was too small for them. Visited this shop just to have a look at their dresses and get an idea of prices so I could work out my budget. Whilst there Gill told me someone had cancelled an appointment so I was able to try on some dresses, which would give me a better idea of what style I'd like. I wasn't at all prepared to do so, but Gill made me feel both relaxed and excited, asking me what kind of style I was looking for and and what I did and didn't like. She encouraged me to try on one that wasn't my ideal dress and I actually loved it, but then another dress I tried on I completely fell in love with. Gill was lovely throughout my visit and Abi, the owner, was lovely too.They explained all about the seamstress fittings and after paying my deposit for my dress, gave me a cute blue organza bag with a sixpence for good luck and something blue. They also gave me an information sheet, discount voucher for dress cleaning and business cards for seamstresses and bridal hair.I was buzzing for the rest of the day after such a lovely visit to this shop and finding my dream dress. Absolutely fabulous!!! Came here with my mom, sister and niece a couple of months ago and found my dress. Today I came back with my mom and said Yes to the dress!!! Love Lucy and Gill, couldn’t have friendlier people to have the experience with. Lucy was the person that I first saw when I came to the shop, it was my first bridal shopping experience and she made me feel so comfortable and knew exactly what worked for me and helped me pick something I never thought I would love. Coming back to the shop and seeing Lucy again only enhanced my experience and made my decisions a whole lot less stressful. Would recommend to everyone that wants to get married, Your Wedding Shop staff are so welcoming and supportive in all your moments, they honestly make your bridal experiences so easy and special. Absolutely beautiful shop. The ladies are amazing. Made me feel extremely welcome and comfortable. Julie was very honest and very professional. She made me feel at extreme ease as I was very nervous due to two failed attempts at dress shopping. For a a plus sized lady I felt extremely nervous and anxious about the wedding dress day shopping, but so glad I pushed my self to go and so glad I went there! Would highly recommend this shop! Gill and the team were really friendly and helpful and supported me to choose my dream dress! My seamstress Karen was also very friendly and helpful. She did a fabulous job! After attending another wedding dress shop i thought that i would never feel like a bride or find a dress that suits me. However i booked an appointment at Your wedding shop from a recommendation from a friend and i'm so glad i did. From the moment i walked in the 'real' experience started. Gill helped me pick dresses that she thinks would suit my shape, she was so lovely and could tell she knew exactly what she was on about. We found the perfect dress within the first hour. I felt amazing and like a real princess. I got married on the 24th February 2023 and so many people said how stunning the dress was, the quality and detailing in the dress was beautiful. I had many people in tears when i walked down the isle. I would definitely recommend any bride looking for that perfect dress for there big day to book an appointment at Your wedding store.
